Immerse yourself in the world of original and exquisite Design at Timeless Art, where each piece is carefully selected for its unique charm and elegance.

Angelo Brotto, wall lamp or lamp artist, was born in Venice in 1914.

In 1941, he graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia.

His first works were commissions for the Peggy Guggenheim collection.

Today, he is best known for his lighting designs in collaboration with the Murano glassblower Esperia in the 1960s and 70s. They broke with the traditional way in which Murano glassblowing was applied to lighting designs.

Brotto participated in many biennials and won countless design and art prizes throughout his career, including in Bergamo, Cremona, Suzzara, and Verona, as well as at the first exhibition of engravings in Rome.

Brotto passed away in 2002 in Campiglia Marittima and left behind a great deal of work that we can now enjoy; his work is currently highly sought after.
